Accommodation in apartments in Szklarska Poręba as a base for hiking trails
We continue with the topic of hiking in the mountains in September. Due to the temperature, this is the most pleasant time to visit the area around Szklarska Poręba. Living in comfortable apartments in Szklarska Poręba you can prepare yourself for each expedition. We are not limited by the meals served by the kitchens we encounter in guesthouses and hotels. We can decide for ourselves what time we want to get up, have breakfast and set off for the mountains. In a beautiful, modern and fully equipped kitchen you can prepare takeaway meals for the whole day. When planning a multi-hour expedition, it is also worth thinking about this.
WITH apartments in Szklarska Poręba we can easily reach many trails. Not every trail has a shelter or other place where we can buy water or food. That is why it is better to take them with you. Following the trail from Szklarska Poręba to Snow Cauldrons we start the hike from the center of Szklarska Poręba heading towards the Mineralogical Museum, and then along the forest path next to Złoty Potok. The trail is marked in blue and leads to the Szklarki waterfall and then to the Shelter under Łabski Szczytem. In the area of Szrenicki Potok the trail is very steep, only after crossing the bridge over the stream it is a bit gentler, then it is yellow and leads to Kokułcze Skaly. The shelter is about 10 minutes away from this place. It is worth entering it and resting for a while.
After leaving the shelter, the trail is still yellow and leads to the intersection with Ścieżka nad Reglami. At the fork in the road, we can turn right, then we will reach Mokra Przełęcz and then Hala Szrenicka. However, this is not the goal of our trip. Turning left, we will cross the slope of Łabski Szczyt and after about half an hour we should reach the goal of our trip, Śnieżne Kotły. At the end, the trail intersects with the red Main Sudety Trail. When returning, you can go down the same route or choose one of several paths. The trail is not the easiest, but the beautiful views and the fresh mountain climate are worth the effort. After the trip, you can rest in a comfortable apartment in Szklarska Poręba.
