After a 65-year break, the cable car connecting Szklarska Poręba with the Czech Harrachov has been reactivated. In the winter season, this connection is eagerly used by classic skiers, who have an easier access to Polana Jakuszycka, where they can use over 100 km of perfectly prepared cross-country trails. The cable car journey itself is excellent entertainment for both young and slightly older tourists, and all this thanks to the rich flora and fauna of the Jizera Mountains, which can be admired along the route.
